I wish to thank my friend Bill Lynne for giving me the opportunity to complete this webpage for the brave men who served our country with honor, courage, and commitment. If it were not for Bill dropping by to get a cable replacement for his camera in the computer store in which I work for part time, I would have never got the chance to listen and learn from an individual that was part of our history. In reading the reference material I learned there was a great many stories to be told. This site is dedicated to those who have stories to be shared to the world.
Some of the men and women gave their lives for the freedom of others and we all should be grateful they paid the ultimate price for freedom. I look up to these men and women and greatly enjoy talking to them. If you get the chance to talk to one of these true American Hero's, sit and listen, you will not be disappointed in what they have to say. In reading the books given to me for reference, there are so many stories and so much to learn from these dedicated individuals.
A brief history of myself
I am a proud Navy Man who has served 26 years in the Submarine Force and retired honorably in August 2008. I enlisted in the Navy April 1982 in the height of the cold war, completed boot camp and continued on to submarine training and my first submarine where I commissioned the USS Alabama SSBN 731(Gold). I commissioned her and two other Trident Submarines, the USS West Virginia SSBN 736 and USS Louisiana SSBN 743. I have served on a total of 5 Trident Submarines, the three mentioned above and the USS Nebraska SSBN 739, and USS Maine SSBN 741. I also served on the Commander Submarine Atlantic Fleet Tactical Readiness Evaluation Team (TRE) as the Submarine Communications evaluator and Enlisted Strategic Deterrence Evaluator. It has been a pleasure and honor to complete this site for our fellow marine veterans.
